Shailynn spent long years toiling in slavery, until he escaped into the desert. The Young drow eventually made his way to Trask, a vile, cess pit of a city that sits brooding over the desert like a festering sore. There, Shailynn found the religion of Set, the Serpent God, and his path as a priest was begun. He spent many years traveling the world, with Kull of the Cimmerians, bringing blight to all those who saw him, and having his way with any woman who would have him, and some who would not (willingly at least, or until they were dead).

Sometime in his extended travels, Shailynn left the faith of Set in favor of Demogorgon, the Demon Lord of Reptiles, earning the unending emnity of the Serpent God. He also met a she-demon named Azoulle, who, through some absymal pact, became bonded to him beginning his road to demonhood. Shailynn's rampage of destruction and broken women spanned continents, until he died in battle with a Norse war-party.

Death was not the end of Shailynn's story, for he arose as a demon, though not as the type of demon he had planned. His carnal nature had caused him to rise as an Incubus, a sex demon.

Shailynn's reign of terror continues to this day, though his interests have shifted more to the Abyss as time passes, he is still wanted for crimes against the citizens of Mordensia, and consorting with known enemies of the empire, such as Kull, King of the Cimmerians, and The Malyk, ruler of Sembia (a country that the empire is currently at war with).
